RTFHS welcomes locals and family historians from around the world. We have members who joined because they enjoy coming to our Monthly Meetings to catch up with friends and listen to interesting speakers. Many members from across the world like to read "The Cedar Log" award winning journal. Our unique local resources attract members who are researching families from this area. The group has grown and expanded over the years and continues to bring support, joy and friendships to our members. For a modest price our members enjoy many benefits.
The annual fee is $35 per year or $45 for a couple per year.

“The Cedar Log” is published quarterly and is free to all members either in print form or electronic. Articles submitted by members present a broad range of interesting and helpful material. Any member can contribute and the editor is able to “iron out any rough spots” for the beginners!

We have moved some records online for members to access. If you are not able to visit our library in person you can become a member and access a range of our resources online including local resources and publications from other societies.

Groups are formed as demand indicates. At present our DNA special interests group has grown in numbers and regularly holds meetings in the Library.

There are opportunities for you to give something to the group. We are always needing volunteers to help in the Marie Hart Library (training is available) and with a variety of small tasks. Share your ideas and talents with us!
