We are a fun, friendly group who enjoy researching family history. If you are looking for specific local information or just starting out on your research journey, we'd love to help.

Our Resource Library holds local information from throughout Northern NSW, including Ballina, Byron Bay, Alstonville, Wardell, Kyogle, Casino, Murwillumbah, Mullumbimby, Brunswick Heads. From Tweed Heads in the north to Evans Head in the south.

We invite you to visit, drop in for a chat or join us at our monthly events. We look forward to meeting you soon.

    RTFHS welcomes locals and family historians from around the world. We have members who joined because they enjoy coming to our Monthly Meetings to catch up with friends and listen to interesting speakers. Many members from across the world like to read "The Cedar Log" award winning journal. Our unique local resources attract members who are researching families from this area. The group has grown and expanded over the years and continues to bring support, joy and friendships to our members.
